Stories is a collection, or slideshow, of photos and videos that can be shared with others. From Instagram’s page, they say you can post as much as you want (But with a limitation of 10 photos and videos which Instagram announced in February of this year.) because of the slideshow formatting of the stories that allows a lot of photos and videos. But be warned these stories do disappear after 24 hours. Speaking of video, there is another new feature with video that lets the Instagrammer create a live video. Also in January, they’ve introduced their live video feature for Instagram. Filters are also something that’s in the feature. Entrepreneurs should utilize this tool as it could showcase not only themselves but their businesses and what he or she is providing to the people. 2) Instagram Shopping: This is a great trend for Entrepreneurs of all platforms. It allows Instagrammers to purchase items via clicking on a link that’s within the picture as opposed to going into the company/business’s bio and clicking that link. What I’ve got from Instagram’s Business page is that this new feature allows Instagrammers to not only purchase the item they are viewing but to also checking the pricing and the information about the product. The link takes the Instagrammer to the business’s website to purchase all the while still staying on the Instagram app. For you Entrepreneurs, watch out for this. This will be an amazing feature for your business and it’ll make buying that so much easier.
3) Instagram Business Tool/Insights: In the words of Brandwatch, a social media trend watching site, Instagram’s new Insight tool allows businesses to “…uncover details about their followers such as behaviors and demographics.” (Brandwatch.com/blog/Instagram-trends-2017/) Basically, it’s part of the statistics or analytics of an application. This tool is pivotal for Entrepreneurs in terms of keeping up with and seeing their target audience and consumers.
4) Instagram Ads: Ads are an important aspect of any business as this helps promotes and draw possible consumers and customers to the business. Instagram’s new tools help businesses and Entrepreneurs create new ads from their own posts. Now its easier than ever before to do promotions.
